Baby status

We are now at t-minus 16 days until Deanne goes to the hospital for inducement, unless our new little girl decides to come sooner. Deanne's last visit to the doctor revealed that she was dialated to a 1. That was October 2.

We had a wonderful baby shower on Saturday, October 8, put on by my friends from Texas Woman's University. We feel really spoiled and loved. It was an amazing outpouring of generosity toward our family. The picture in this post is one of the games we played at the baby shower where the challenge was to see who could drink all of the water in the baby bottle the fastest. Luckily, for my sake, I lost this one.

More updates are likely to come on the status of the baby tomorrow, as Deanne has a checkup with the OB in the morning.
