Moody Gardens

We got some free tickets to Moody Gardens, and so we drove the hour and a half down to Galveston from our home and spent the day having a good time. We got a late start since the boys had baseball and tee-ball games in the morning. D.J. hit three home runs this weekend - 2 on Friday night and another one on Saturday. He is really good at making contact and hustling around the bases! 

A Day at Galveston

We decided to go to Galveston Island on Saturday because we won't be anywhere near the beach in Salt Lake in a couple of weeks when we move. This was Morgan's first time to the beach, although we didn't try to put her in the water. We did put her in the water a little bit at Moody Gardens earlier in the day. It was a lot of fun, and the weather was absolutely perfect! The picture on the bottom is one that Deanne took without looking through the camera - it isn't touched up or cropped at all. What a great job!
